Re the Lollipop micro and softee nappies, can anyone tell me what the inside is like? Do they have a fleece lining like a Fluffle?
Cheers,
Liv

Sorry i have no idea but a bambinex teddy is similar to a fluffle with fleece lining if that helps in anyway at all

Softee does not have a fleece lining like a fluffle does. Pile is thicker than fluffles too so more bulky.

Micro - do you mean the microfleece???? There is a lot of confusion between microfleece and the softee (mainly because the Softee is made fom microfibre). The microfleece is just thick fleece inside and out. I don't get it, must be missing the point - DD2 wet through it in an hour

Other budget MF nappy is the Little Lamb microfibre nappy, not fleece lined either but less bulky than the softee. Or bambinex teddy which Nappyzone has mentioned - very different shape to the fluffle though I think (more tall and thin IYSWIM) - would you agree nappyzone (not got one to hand so going from memory here)

btw - watch your sizing on the lollipop nappies they have different sizing to Tots Bots, Newborn, Size 1 and Size 2 - Size 1 lollipop much bigger than Size 1 Fluffle

BigBadMouse: I agree about the Lollipop microfleece - I was trying to work out what the point of it was and what it was actually made of. I was thinking surely it's not just fleece, but doesn't seem like it's much else. It is nice and thin/trim, but doesn't seem to soak much up. I've got a Softee as well, and it is very bulky, though does look a very comfy nappy. But without it being fleece lined, seems it could leave the baby feeling rather wet? I dunno! Guess you just want to use it with a good sized fleece liner.

Yes i would agree and its cheaper...

The Lollipop micro is fleece but inside the nappy and booster is microfibre, the same stuff as the softee is made of. It is not the most absorbent nappy, but slim fitting and very fast drying, best suited to day time.
The Softee is great for night-time as it is more bulky, but that doesn't matter at night, very absorbent (just like a sponge) and again fast drying.
I don't bother with a liner in either of them and seems to be ok.

Thanks all, shan't bother with them then. Still trying to find more examples of fleece-lined popper nappies with built-in or (pocketed) booster. Had wondered if you could stuff the Softee but obviously not.
