Baby had 12 weeks jabs today and been unsolvable ever since. Is this normal cos these jabs don’t have the meningitis one so I thought he would be ok

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Mine was the same after all his jabs (last lot at 16 weeks) it really made him feel miserable. Has he got a temp? Wet nappies? Feeding ok?

Joram86 · 17/01/2023 20:48

No, temp is fine. Feeding more often than normal. Just won’t be be put down been trying bedtime since 7 and he still isn’t settled. Gonna be a lonnngggg night I think. I expected him to be off on his 8 weeks ones cos of the temp that comes with the meningitis jab but wasn’t prepared for this today ha

Yeah it was a long night for me each time. Only thing that worked was cuddles and time. Good luck for tonight 💓

My baby was bad on 8 week and 16 week ones, not so bad on 12 weeks. I was told to give him calpol for all of them, even if he doesn't have a fever, as (I think) calpol is essentially just paracetamol for babies so can be given to help any pain too. Usually babies are a bit wiped out from the vaccines so I hope LO sleeps well for you Flowers
