Nightlight dramatically improved toddler's sleep

Sharing this in case it helps anyone else

My almost 2yo DD has never slept well, 1+ night wakings and early mornings. Last month she started waking with what seemed like nightmares, so we got her a nightlight. She instantly started sleeping through the night AND sleeps until 7:30am, when she used to wake up between 5:30 and 6:30. We got a basic Lindam nightlight off Amazon.

Glad it worked for you.

Our DD is turning 3 soon and for the past few months, she hasn't settled through the night without waking up various times. We bought her a night light and tried several from Amazon but none had the desired effect. She barely sleeps an hour without waking now and it's gotten so bad she won't sleep without DH in her bedroom.

@sarahb083 thats so good that its worked! You must feel brand new!

@Phoenixwings1989 we have a similar situation with our newly turned 3yo. Went from sleeping through the night to up to 5 waking a night on a bad night. I spoke to the HV and she says it's developmental that their imaginations just take off and nightmares are really common. We've had to really pay attention to what she watches on TV (even some duggee episodes!) It's brutal!
