My DD (25 months) has started to become very difficult to put to bed. This has progressively got worse over the last couple of weeks, beforehand she was happy to be put to bed and would sometimes lie awake for a little while but was quite happy. Now it's got to the stage (some of which is our fault for giving into demands) where bedtime is taking 1.5 hours (from around 7:30 to 8:45/9) and she will scream if we leave the room, demands songs, cuddles, anything to stall things. She has recently also said that she's scared so I'm not sure if seperation anxiety/ night terrors are a factor. But now the same demands have also been slightly creeping into nap time as well, although on a lesser scale, so I'm not sure whether she's ready to drop the nap/ if this will help or to try and do some kind of sleep re-training? We never let her nap for more than an hour now but I'm honestly not sure she's ready to drop it. Any advice would be appreciated!
