How many oz of formula in 24 hours are you giving 9 month old, she had a good breakfast and dinner and fruit and yogurt in-between

9 month old should be on 3x meals a day and maybe an afternoon snack.

Milk in the morning on waking and at bedtime (260ml).

bologneseandbabies · 15/01/2023 17:44

That's 260ml in the am and pm, so 520ml in total for the day.

If you have a hungry baby then could be 290ml.

You could give him 90-120ml milk mid-morning while you are transitioning to only 2 milk feeds a day, reducing amount every day.

I think around 500mls per day is advised for that age group. And then around 400mls at 10 months+ and then 300/350mls from 1 year

At 9 months my 2 had 3 milk feeds. Dropped to 2 around 11 months

7oz bottle upon waking and again at bedtime.

Depends how much they eat. Tbh people will tell you they should be doing this and they should be eating that but weaning is a slow process. Mine would have starved if she only had 2 feeds a day then. The guidelines are good for a vague idea, but don’t get too hung up on them.

FTM2022SS · 15/01/2023 17:51

Our day is wake up 7oz bottle, breakfast around 8am, lunch 11.30/12, 7oz bottle 2pm, dinner 5/5.30pm bedtime bottle 8oz around 6.30!

Hope that helps!

Above is a guide, don’t overthink it though

PritiPatelsMaker · 15/01/2023 21:58

I think the advice is 13.5 floz at 10 months? So it should be a bit more than that Wink

Just 9 months and has 4 bottles a day still.
