We will be travelling abroad with my 2 year old soon and I'm looking to download some apps we can use offline while on the plane.

Preferably free

We've downloaded a few which are good so far but most need paid for for more levels or more content which is annoying.

My son would happily watch animals videos all day long on YouTube but we obviously won't have access to internet online.

We have Duo ABC which is completely free and practises reading, letter formation and sounds which my son enjoys.

Lego Duplo is good also but only free to a certain point.

I can give you a list of the ones we currently have if you want.

Thanks ! Bbc I player and Disney plus and Netflix you can download a lot of the content so it’s available offline which we have done for previous trips! But I think some games would be useful now

i know the bbc has a few games you can download for free I just haven’t had a minute to have a proper look

Sago mini is good. Some are free but I pay £20 or so for the annual subscription that unlocks them all.

They aren't educational as such but do gently help problem solving type things.

Mine likes the crayola one. Killed some time last week on the flight from Sydney!
