(This is probably more for me than the toddler as I'm bored of playing with the same things over and over!!)

What great toy recommendations do you have? All and any ideas welcome.

Toy kitchen and train set very popular here as is anything arts and crafty - paints, colouring pens, stickers, play doh.

DD seems to have lost interest in dolls a bit but I think generally this is the age that they really start enjoying anything that let's them copy grown ups.

Duplo
Magnatiles
Marble run (but not if they're likely to put the marbles in their mouth and obviously needs supervision, but it is fun to play with!)
Brio train track
Puzzles
Small world toys (e.g. dolls house/farm)
Play doh
Paints
Stickers
Sand pit/water play
Messy play tray filled with something like rice/cornflakes

And the best one of all pack of paper and colouring pens. I love drawing and keeps them quiet for aaaages!
