3 month old not feeding as much as he used to

Hi all,
My 3 month old son is a happy, healthy little boy. He was weighed at 2 months at 11lb 3oz but my HV team don't weigh regularly anymore so I don't know his current weight. (They stopped weight clinics after covid and only weigh if there are concerns.)
Up until recently he was taking about 30 oz of formula per day, sometimes a bit more. This was 6x 5oz feeds a day and then moved to 5x 6oz feeds per day, which he was doing really well on. Over the last few days though, he has decided he only wants to take 4 or 5 oz per feed, sometimes even 3, and I'm struggling to get more than 26-28 oz down him in a day. He has plenty of wet and soiled nappies and is happy in himself, sleeps well and has no signs of being unwell. I'm just concerned he won't be feeding enough to gain weight properly. Does anyone have similar experience? Did it get better or did you have to seek advice? TIA.

My 12 week old is the same. He's gone from drinking 30-32 Oz a day to drinking around 25-27. I'm on a Facebook group for babies my sons age and there seems to be alot of similar comments. Consensus seems to be a leap or growth spurt for the cause. Although I always thought they fed more during those?

My health visitors dont do in person visits or clinics either. They are just over the phone. I'm not sure whether to suggest this because I don't actually believe constant weighing is always a good thing and it's not accurate. But for peace of mind maybe. I use normal scales to weigh myself with baby and then without baby. The difference is roughly(!) What he weighs.

As long as he has wet and dirty nappies and is happy in himself I wouldn't be too worried. you obviously know what to look out for as you've mentioned this already. Top work mum! X

@Lijay Oh wow, that's interesting. Glad to know it isn't just my little one! He honestly seems absolutely fine so I'm trying not to read too much into it but I can't help but worry sometimes. My eldest is nearly 11 and I don't remember stressing half as much with him 🙈
Little one has just started to sleep for a longer period at night now too (say midnight after an 11pm feed til 6am) so isn't feeding at night, and I didn't want to wake him unnecessarily if he's nourished enough to sleep for that long.
I'll give the scales trick a try just to see the general gist of his weight gain. He's definitely gaining because he's growing out of his clothes haha.
