Hi all can anyone with this diagnosis share how this condition affects their parenting/relationships?
I get constant mood swings, irritable, really loving and then really cold/aloof.

I tend to dissociate and feel like I don't exist whenever I go hours without talking to bf which makes me moody and spaced out with my son. Currently only on SSRIs though they only really lessen the depressive aspect for me.

I don’t have experience with bpd but didn’t want to leave your post unanswered. I don’t know how old your child/children are but parenting is hard. I can remember feeling what you describe, it is hard being around small children all day without adult company.
I found the only thing which kept me sane was getting out everyday. I would go to any toddler group going, or just go to the park or even the supermarket. Anything to break up the never ending dull and frustrating boredom of being needed all day long. Having to be the grown up level headed person because someone needs you.
