Toniebox - which tonies are the best?

Ordering the toniebox for my 3 year old (I have read lots of threads saying the Yoto is better for longevity, but DS will love the bright red toniebox and loves loads of the characters, if he outgrows it it'll be passed to his younger brother so we're sticking with the Tonie - just before thread gets full of people recommending yotos)

Which ones are best? I've picked 3 of his general favourite characters but wondered if anyone can recommend any that have been particularly popular for the other 2!

I personally like the traditional stories tonies. They have several traditional stories on each one and the content is longer. They just have stories and no songs and games which is better for bedtime. The gruffalo and other characters etc have music and games too and often much shorter content. Once you've downloaded the tonie app there is alot of free content to download on there and obviously you can read your own books and upload too. We have 2 and my 5 year old absolutely loves it so you've got a few years I'd imagine, on contrast my friends daughter has the yoto and barely uses it.

Hope your little one enjoys x

My little girl loves the jungle book one, both Peppa pig ones and the lion king one.

She is 3 and she absolutely loves all the Tonies but those 4 are her definite favourite and more likely to be chosen over the others

My son loves the music on the Lightning McQueen one. Many of hours spent dancing to that.

Thanks! I've ordered a good mix so hope he likes it. I'm weirdly excited about it myself Grin

we Have the Julia Donaldson ones snail and the whale is good because that’s a long one and also has the smartest giant in town on it. The buzz one Toy Story 2 is also good and has 4 songs and then the story.

My son loves paw patrol so they're a big hit. I love the Paddington one, narrated by Stephen Fry and it's over 2 hours so I feel it's the best value for money too 🤣Bing has a very annoying narrator. Thomas the tank is pretty good. We got the Super Wings one recently and my son loves it and I like they always go to different places and say a bit about them, like festivals and bits of nature etc.

My 5 year old grandson loves both the Disney Cars Tonies. He loves ones with both stories and music/songs. His favourite latest Tonie is Elf on the Shelf which, so far, has been the most played. Are there any others with both stories and songs that are recommended?

We have Wakey Peppa, Sleepy Peppa and George Peppa rotated with Bing And The Nauseating Narrator.

He has about 20 others that barely get a look in.

My DS dislikes the Mater (from Cars) one as it's old fashioned music with no talking for about half of it

Mr Strong is lovely, with about 5 Mr Men stories
