Random vomiting - allergy?

DD (8m) had a random episode of persistent, forceful vomiting last night as we went to bed (9pm) that lasted around an hour. In total she was sick 10 times, although the last few she didn't produce much other than a bit of mucous and saliva.

Around 3 hours prior, I'd given her some homemade "fish bites", containing salmon and prawns. That was the third time she had eaten these and had had no reaction on the other two occasions (they are also cooked before freezing so they wouldn't have been undercooked).

DD has CMPA, and although I've cut out dairy, I've never consumed soy substitutes and so have never inadvertently given her any via breast milk/since weaning; I can't be sure she has an allergy to soy but I am aware it is quite prevalent amongst those who also have CMPA. However MIL was not aware of this and gave her vegan soy yoghurt yesterday around 2pm.

DD had no other (allergy or otherwise) symptoms and was absolutely fine in herself up till the moment I heard what I'm not joking, sounded and looked like the Little Britain sketch of vomiting, and then the next hour was just horrendous crying, screaming, coughing, heaving, etc, until she fell asleep.

For it to be a reaction to the soy seems a bit delayed in my mind, but then again a reaction to the fish has me a bit puzzled too. I've also eaten fish/shellfish throughout EBF too and there was never a reaction via BM so I'm at a loss.

Any thoughts or similar experiences?
