Toy/game/book storage... HELP!

How do you store your toys/games/puzzles/activities so that your children can see what is available and help themselves to their toys? We do a toy rotation, but I mean the toys that are available to play with?

How do you store pictures books so that your child(ren) can flick through and see all the options?

Pics greatly appreciated. I really need to find some sort of system to save my sanity!

I got one of these and some of the storage cubes so some toys/books I have 'on display' on the top shelf and then I have others in the storage cubes below which my daughters can easily access.
