Parents who have help complaining?

Does anyone roll their eyes when people who have a lot of help complain about the help they get???

My fiancé (and father of my son) brother has 2 kids. He sends them to nursery 2 days a week (1 child has free hours) and they have family to care for them on the other 3 days - including my fiancés mother.

He constantly moans that his mother should help more (he lives away) but yet she is the reason they don’t have to pay a 3rd day of nursery for their kids? Then moans about his MIL. Who has them 2 days a week.

Me and my fiancé have to send DS to nursery 4 days a week. My mum has him one day and we’re so lucky for that. But in all honesty I’ve used a lot of a/L to cover those days as she hasn’t been most reliable bless her. So it’s looking like either the whole week in nursery or I drop a day. Financially either way is shit!

so does anyone just get wound up when people moan about their help? I would feel so lucky if we only had to send DS to nursery for 2 days a week!

Some people don't realise what they have until it is gone.

If he moans to you say something neutral and change the subject.

@Reugny yup. Sounds horrible but I’d love to see how much he’d bloody moan if his mother didn’t help him out with that day!

she doesn’t have our son in the week and have we even complained once? No!
