What happens next?

DD lives with Ex DH over 3 hours drive away. Ex DH has made visitation impossible since he was awarded residence - so you know back story this is nothing to do with any of my actions, just the way he has acted.

I have, this morning, received a call from SS to advise that ExDH NDN has complained to DD's school about the way that he constantly shouts at her and they are investigating.

Does anyone know what happens next? From how they described it this is not new behaviour - when we divorced I had NDN telling me they were glad we were splitting because he shouted at my elder DD (not his) the same when I was out.

I assume that they will ask him to do a parenting course, but they never really told me why they were contacting me other than the shouting and that they were investigating so am a little bit unsure.

Probably not very much.

Social service departments are stretched due to lack of funding and lack of social workers.

If daughter also says something to her school then he may be given links to men's parenting groups and activities for your daughter.

Thought that would be the case. Thank you.
