My 11 week old DS is dribbling a lot since yesterday and he’s constantly sucking his thumb. Is this normal?

He is maybe teething? If you are worried contact your gp or health visitor.

You can't really check as such maybe see if the gums are hot .

Has baby had any feeding problems?
I only ask because my grandson was dribbling excessively and chewing his fingers from 5/6wks old and was found to have a milk allergy and the excess saliva was because of silent reflux..

I’m not really worried but I’ll ask. And what do you mean see if the gums are hot?

He hasn’t had any feeding problems, but what are the other signs of silent reflux?

If you run your pinky along the gums they can be hotter than usual when .babies are teething .

He's not a 'sicky' baby but possetted a little after feeds, hardly sleeping/napping then waking screaming from lying flat.
Arching his back and being very stiff in the body crying after feeds, diarrhoea.
