8 week old, what’s this?

Baby’s cheek is very red and warm on one side. Could this be teething or something else? Wouldn’t teething be on both sides and isn’t it too soon? Thanks

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I would have thought that's a bit young to be teething but maybe wrong.

Does your baby have a temperature or seem unwell? When DD had an ear infection her cheek was red and hot higher up by the ear, and she had also had a raised temp.

Could it just be where he/she has had their cheek pressed against you or something for a while?

Its not too soon. My son started testing at 8 weeks. Babies can be born with teeth. Rare but can happen
