Anyone know of any good baby groups in the Bromley/ chislehurst area on a Thursday or Friday

(Preferably free) but don't mind spending a bit of money

Depends what you're after, the local children's centres are really good. You can join the The Bromley Children Project on fb for timetables.
We love the stay and play sessions at Downderry Childrens Centre 1pm-2.30pm- technically Lewisham but is 5minute drive from me in Bromley.

Thank you for your reply, I'm not on fb so is there another way of accessing the timetable?

Oh yeah that's not too far from me, what days do they have their sessions?

Have a look at NCT beckenham and boarders on Facebook.

We run a number of groups through the week that might be of interest. You don't have to be an NCT member to come along. Some are free or very low cost (£2 a family)

Actually I could use my mums Facebook to have a look, thank you for the suggestions :)

Could I ask what NCT means

I would set up a non detailed FB account to access these things- everything is on there re: kid activities. Also they tell you on there if schedules change/cancelled.
They might have an instagram too.

Downderry have a drop in play session Mondays at 9.30am, a toddler jump and bounce on Tuesdays 9.30, a messy play on Wednesdays 2pm, a sensory make and play on Thursdays that requires booking and a stay and play on Fridays as mentioned.

Local libraries hold story times- also all the soft plays locally are good and reasonable for under 3s.

NCT = National Childbirth Trust.

I think there is a baby/toddler and parent NCT meetup in Orpington too. If that's not too far.

National childbirth trust. They are a charity focused on supporting parents through pregnancy, birth and the first 1000 days.

In our branch we not only have ante natal course but also baby first aid, breastfeeding support, walk and talks, bumps and babies and a toddler group.

All very open and friendly.

That all sounds great, thank you for all the suggestions

I think I will make a Facebook to follow these groups :)
