Any tips on how to get rid of cradle cap please? I’m currently using coconut oil (pure), would this work?

Coconut oil on head, slather on and rub it in. Leave for over an hour.
Comb it with a plastic nit comb (fine side). It'll come peeling off, gross but satisfying.

Bath straight after and shampoo head to remove excess oil, or it'll get all over your clothes/bedding etc

Dermafrida Flake Fixer and Dentinox shampoo. Cleared my DS's awful cradle cap in about three goes. Good for maintenance too. Pricey but works!

Almond oil rubbed in well and left overnight. I covered the sheets with an old stained muslin then washed off in the morning

Plain old baby oil like Johnston's. Massage in in the evening, leave overnight and wash in the morning. Really gross but it's nice and soft and peels off easily

I used the coconut oil on and off and wasn’t getting anywhere but eventually put it on over night then the next day put more on before he got in a bath. Used a scalp massager brush thing to loosen it and a comb to get it off. There was so much it was actually blocking the hair from growing. As soon as it all came off his hair came in so quick! I did feel bad taking so much off at once as his scalp was quite red but he wasn’t bothered in the slightest

This cradle cap brush from Amazon was amazing.

Don't fuck about with oils and brushes OP. It's a medical complaint with a medical solution. You need to treat your child's fungal infection. Ask the pharmacist for anti fungal shampoo. (I would say GP but obviously there are none now.) Couple of washes will sort it out.
