I’m just wondering how people manage nursing and a baby?
Me and my partner don’t have any family support with childcare due to living away from our parents and close family. Unfortunately we’re also not in a position for me not to return to work.
I’m currently a band 6 in community, however I’m trying to weigh up whether things would be easier if I gave up my contract and went to bank as a band 5. Basically so that we can have flexibility and I could do more night shifts so that child care isn’t so expensive.
Just wondering what other people in the NHS have done and what works for them really?
