5 month old not turning to voices

Hey moms, I'm a worried FTM. My 5 month old doesn't consistently turn to voices. I especially notice this when he is up from his naps and he's just staring at the curtains and cooing. He doesn't even realise I'm sitting next to him. Even when i call out his name or speak generally he ignores me. I am sure he hears though since he will turn to his dad's voice sometimes.

He also doesn't give me much eye contact when I am close to him or holding him. Lying on his back, he's fine, looks & smiles sometimes.

Anyone seen something similar? I googled a couple of things and both symptoms pointed me to autism. I'm worried.

Far too young to be thinking ASD.

They don't always look when you call their name, if they are too interested in something, like checking the curtains out, then they'll ignore.

If he was ignoring you both completely then I would say get his hearing checked.
