Mesh baby gate

Are mesh baby gates worth it? Keep seeing them but not sure they would be good. DS 8 months has started crawling and keeps coming in kitchen so want to baby proof. The space for door is 84cm x

Recently went to a family members house with a mesh baby gate on the stairs, 17 month DD pushed it down within seconds so even though yours is only 8 months I wouldn’t bother. Get a normal one imo.
