High chair recommendations

DS is now 6 months and now that weaning has started we need a high chair! Overwhelmed, tired, can't face research right now..... can you advise?

The two brands that undoubtedly will come up which I can't get.....

  1. We live in Jersey so IKEA not an option.
  1. I LOVE the stokke, but that along with the accessories just isn't affordable for us.

Any recommendations? As said, love the Tripp trapp style - we rent a little cottage so it would have really suited with the wood. Second hand ones don't seem to come up.

Have a look for second hand stokke's. If we don't have a 3rd, I'll be selling both of mine for cheap to a good home x

Sorry I just saw you said second hand ones don't come p. Check hauck, they do a similar cheaper one or even Aldi did one x

Not in keeping with your cottage I’m afraid but we have this with our second and had a very similar style from a different brand with our first. It’s amazing and holds baby in a great position for eating. It has a click on white tray so nice and easy for o clean and you’ll find once they’re a little older no food falls onto the seat at all.

I saw the Hauck - was hoping that someone on here would come and tell me it wasn't rubbish. It's always compared to the Stokke therefore reviews aren't that great. Do love that style xx

Tripp Trapps are great, especially as they convert to child and then adult chairs. Friends of ours loved theirs so much they bought three more and use them all as dining chairs.

Tripp traps are well worth the money.

They often come up on marketplace

Sorry, as said above, I live in Jersey and they really don't come up much at all. Not that many babies here! Second hand really isn't an option when it comes to Tripp trapps.

Is the Hauck really that bad? Anyone?

East Coast wooden ones are very nice
