DS is 11 weeks old and has dropped a couple of percentiles. He’s putting on weight but very slowly. He did have a tongue tie which we got snipped at 7 weeks however I’m going back to the practitioner on Tuesday so make sure it hasn’t reattached.
DS is EBF, won’t take any bottles so all feeds from breast. He’s always has very short feeds but after finishing a feed lately he will cry. He’s starting to cry even if breast comes near him now! He is also a very hiccupy baby.
Ive just tried feeding him upright now and even though it was a short feed he seemed a bit happier after the feed.
All of that plus the slow weight gain might make me think it could potentially be silent reflux
does anyone know if these symptoms sound like it could be? We’ve got a weigh in at clinic on Wednesday so I will bring up with HV if he hasn’t gained enough again
