Bedtime when the nap has been dropped

2 year old has decided he doesn’t need to nap any more - he was up at half six. What time would be reasonable for bedtime? It’s usually at 7 but he’ll be shattered by 5!

I think I'd give him his tea at half 4 so that he's not screaming with tiredness and aim to have him in bed by 6.30 x

I'd do dinner earlier before he gets too tired.

And then bed around 6:30pm if you can get him to last that long.

I'd also introduce 'quiet time' in place of a nap, so he gets to rest (and may actually doze off if the pressure to sleep is removed) and you still get a break too!

I’d do 6pm ish. Takes a couple of weeks to get into the new routine and you’ll probably find he naps some days and not others and bedtime varies between 6pm and 9pm.

Just try to avoid danger nap territory!
