Thought/hoped it would be a one off, but this morning was the fifth in a row. One day it was 4.30am! She is a full time nursery goer, hasn’t napped in a year, has no problem falling asleep at 7pm-7.30pm, but is waking early full of beans and wanting to play. I’m 27 weeks preg and knackered! Any ideas please?

Has she had time away off nursery over Christmas? My 4 year old has just started back at school and has been coming g in to our room every night. He stands there like a ghost child until I tell him to go back to bed!
I think it's treatable shiny routines and sleep patterns after Christmas and later nights.

Yes we did have a few days out of routine over Christmas - perhaps it is that 🤔 thanks. Not sure whether to just persevere with her old routine or put her to bed earlier/later for a couple of days.

I'd stick with routine for now and see. After a few early mornings it will probably catch up with her!

Send her back to bed

Any further disobedience beyond that - start taking away toys/whatever form of punishment you usually use

Here’s hoping, she’s normally an excellent sleeper 7-6.30, I’m cream crackered 🥴
