Teat size - using Mam bottles

Hi when did you move your babies up teat size? My little girl is 15 weeks and still on size 1 teat size. I tried her on size 2 last week for a couple of days and seemed to be getting on fine however then was being sick a bit after her bottle (she has reflux but is usually very mild now since using gavison) but got worse again.

it says 2 months + for teat size 2 & she is 3 and a half months now just concerned she should be moving up.

It doesn't really matter if she's still using the smaller ones, just keep trying the faster one every now and then (maybe once or twice a day?) until she gets used to it Smile

We didn’t fully swap until about 4.5-5 months although I did try the size 2 periodically from 2-3 months. There was a fustrating period of time where the size 1 seemed too slow and the size 2 too fast.

My 7 week old is still on size 0 (extra slow flow). He chokes with size 1. I think you just need to find a teat that suits your baby regardless of what the back of the box advises.

I never swapped from size 2!!

I combi fed so this might be different. I was told to not change the teat size. Your nipple holes don't change size.

I never swapped from newborn teats for my son.

I’m in that frustrating period now with my little one. How did you transition fully to the teat number 2?
