Outdoor shoes for toddler

I want to spend some more time outdoors with my 18mo DS. He walks but is still a little unsteady on his feet. We tried a pair of boots and they were too heavy/he kept tripping over.

can anyone recommend some good outdoor shoes?

Get measured in Clarks then go online to the outlet and buy some leather high top styles, they’re sturdy enough for being outside and waterproof but reasonable price from the outlet

Wellies? You can buy them second hand on eBay and Vinted if you want to try them without spending a fortune. Our daughter manages fine in them at 16 months. Sorry if by boots you meant wellies!

Following as I need similar. He’s not walking yet just crawling but he needs something to keep his feet dry when outside in his waterproofs. And he’s a big 11 month old so doesn’t fit the baby waterproof booties but proper wellies would be too stiff and heavy for crawling.
