My almost 17 month old is going through a phase of waking up during the night and sitting / standing up in his cot in silence… Sometimes I hear him shuffle around in the cot which wakes me up but he can be there for ages sometimes and it’s only when I look back on the monitor I see what time he woke. He is so so quiet! He then tends to settle if we go and lay by the cot although last night wasn’t so good as he was up and down most of the night. Has anyone else experienced this? It is really odd for us as he has always been a great sleeper overall.
He is going through a transition of dropping from 2 to 1 naps during the day. I am wondering if he is sleeping too much during the day or whether this is just another phase?
