Antibiotic help please!

5 year old DD has been prescribed antibiotics for suspected Strep A, but due to to National shortage she has been given tablets rather than liquid.

She cannot physically take a tablet - has anyone got any ideas for how I can get them in? It's half a tablet 4 times a day for 10 days!

I have managed to dissolve one in boiling water and make a mini hot chocolate which she has taken but I'm not sure if this could change the efficacy of the antibiotics?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try bashing the tablet up and mix it with a yogurt or something.

I remember being given tablets in a teaspoon of strawberry jam as a child. Probably wouldn't be recommended by a dentist but more unlikely to change the effectiveness of the antibiotics than boiling water.
