Tommee Tippee Teat sizes with Carobel

Help!!
My DS (12 weeks) is on Carobel with Pepti 1 for CMPA and reflux. We’ve had to increase Carobel from 1 scoop to 2 in 5oz feeds and now his normally fine size 1 teats are far too small. We moved to variflow on recommendation of the GP but it’s far too fast for him. If he’s not coughing and spluttering he’s drunk it in 3 minutes!!! I’ve then bought size 2 teats but he gets bored sucking and invariably falls asleep.
Is there no happy medium between size 2 and variflow?? I don’t know what to do 😫

Hello did you ever find a solution for this? I am on the exact same boat (pepti 1 + carobel) and baby falls asleep and never finishes his bottles on level 2 teat.

@MrsLGA I changed from TT bottles to Dr Brown wide neck bottles for exactly the same reason. TT didn't do the size teat needed for additional carobel.

Dr Brown do a size 3 teat and this worked for us. It's an expensive process buying new bottles plus the teats (all new bottles come with size 1 teats only) but was such a relief to keep feeding times as stress free as possible.
