2 month old cold and diarrhoea

My 2 month old has developed a cold and quite nasty cough a couple of days ago. A friend who is a doctor checked him out today and said he seems ok just a little cold and offer him feeds regularly. However since then he’s done a poo like 6 times! When we normally goes once every few days

he did have his rotavirus vaccine a couple of weeks ago but can they still develop diarrhoea 2 weeks after the vaccine? Or is diarrhoea alongside cold quite common in babies?

Ring 111 for advice. Is baby still feeding and having wet nappies? How cold is cold?

Ignore last, I misread the cold part.

My 10 week old has the same, a cold and diarrhea. The diarrhea has calmed down to once a day now, it was only bad for one or two days. There's alot of germs out there at the moment it's that time of year. Just keep an eye on temperature and wet nappies.

My 3 month old has had a cold and diarrhoea. The doctor said that colds can upset their digestive system and cause the diarrhoea.
