DS is 6. He is usually a loving, caring bundle of joy. However his anger is horrendous and will go to an extreme fairly quickly. This can be once a week or so. Tonight he has called myself DH and DD names, made fun of us, slapped DH, kicked DH and generally been a ball of anger. We have tried being calm, consequences (and followed through) and ignoring but nothing seems to work. Tonight I don’t even know what started it but often it can be something relatively minor like us saying no.
tonight I was upset because DD cried after all this saying she doesn’t understand why he is so nasty to us 😢
what on earth do I do?
