The last three days I've noticed my son (3) has been blinking a lot. He's had an ear infection and temperature, looking quickly online it looks like it could be fever related but has anyone else had this? It's like a tic it's really odd.

My child had this at the same age, it lasted around a year in total and come and went randomly (no real trigger) the paediatric doc told me it was motor tics and can suddenly stop as quick as it started (it did for us) although we've had a vocal tic since after a few years 😊

This post infection illness causes sudden onset of tics www.panspandasuk.org have a read of the details. Has he had strep? Might be worth trip to GP and a strep test.

It's really strange isn't it! Absolutely nothing for three years and he's had so many bugs and viruses etc, his sister has an ear infection too and me and my husband have had the flu so he could have just about anything 🤦‍♀️ I took him to the drs the other day (completely unrelated - eczema) and it was the first day he'd been doing it so briefly mentioned it and the Dr just shrugged it off and said kids do these things and left it at that, so she wasn't concerned but I just can't shake it. Good to know that others have experienced this and 🤞 it'll go away on its own as he gets better
