Planning party for 3yo - do you invite nursery friends?

Im planning a birthday party for my eldest who is 3 in a couple of months. She has certain friends at nursery she talks about but we’ve never met the parents …what do people generally do / I thought about asking her key worker to pop an invite on the bags of these children for their parents with our contact details etc on but is it weird if we’ve not met them?! She’s quite new to the nursery so I’ve not really met any other parents yet..she was moved up early into preschool.

Yup we had a birthday party when our son was three and he had three nursery friends come. And we have had reciprocated Invites to theirs

Our nursery will only do that if all the children are invited. I don't think it's weird though; I've been to plenty of kid's parties where I don't know the parents or particular the child at all.

Been there. It worked out fine. I asked my child's key worker for a list of names of the children but definitely checked that the most mentioned children were included and wrote the invites from that and then the key worker put the invites in the bags. It worked well. Just make sure you include contact number for you and a deadline for the replies on the invite.

Yeah my daughter only started nursery in the September and has already had a few invites for parties. It's really nice as you get to meet the parents too!
