So my 8 month old has a cold, she's been fine in herself, eating, drinking. Slightly cranky but fine. She's got a nose dripping like a tap, a cough, and today woke up with a sticky eye, was just clear at first and then as the day has gone on it's got yellow gunky. I've just been wiping it with cooled boiled water.
My sister in law today has text the group chat saying her son has tested positive for Strep A and I noticed on Christmas Day he had a gunky eye. So I'm certain she's caught it from him. The Strep A is now freaking me out incase she's caught that. We are away for the new years so I popped into a chemist and they said nothing they can do. I'm just worried as her eye looks slightly blood shot. She keeps rubbing her nose into her eye and the eye gunk around her face. Constantly wiping her and she 100% hates me now😂 is there no over the counter stuff I can give her?
