Chickenpox?

Looking for advice - my little boy has these red raised bumps all over his legs and arms. I assumed chickenpox but first noticed early this morning and they haven’t become blistered at all so not sure?

Looks more like an allergic reaction to me

This is what I’m starting to think, as I always thought chickenpox started on the torso first too. I don’t know anything he’s eaten or worn different but I’ve given an antihistamine so hoping they may disappear soon
