First day back at work today and DS woke at 2am vomiting 😔 I’d very stupidly gone to bed just before 1am after staying up watching a film 😴
Vomiting loads. I’m on the second laundry load of the day so far and it’s 6am 😬

DH is home thankfully (he works abroad for weeks at a time) so I don’t need to take time off work. But he’s never been home when DS has been ill before and DS screams for me everytime DH goes near him 😢 It’s going to be a long day for everyone in this house I think 😴

Its like all these bugs/viruses know when to strike 😅

You have my sympathy. We had a nice vomiting bug in the house last week. Right when I was busy in the run up to Christmas and having my mum to stay. We had to leave mum with my sister for an extra day as we didn't want her to catch it (plus it was my turn by then and there was no way I was going far enough from a toilet to drive an hour and fetch her, then an hour home. I am still behind on all the regular washing after all the bed linen I had to wash.

We had one a few months ago and about 24 hours after DS starting with the vomiting, it hit me too 😷 DH had just left to go offshore abroad so we just had to deal with it. There were some very sorry scenes with us both huddled on the bathroom floor crying 🙈 DS has just turned 2 so he really doesn’t understand it yet, he just knows that being sick feels horrible so he screams bloody murder everytime he’s going to vomit 😫
