Baby rash or something else?

Hi all
not sure if I’m posting on the right thread but I have a question for mums out there. My baby has had this rash on her face since she was 2 weeks.. she is going to be 9 weeks on Friday. She is combi fed - formula is aptimil advanced. GP keeps fobbing me off as she is not vomiting eyc after feeds so doesn’t think it’s a cow milk allergy etc. Bubs has lots of skin on skin with me and dad and loves snuggles and being extra toasty so maybe heat rash? I’ve been prescribed epimax cream but doesn’t seem to be doing much… has anyone seen anything like this?

Not sure if it's the same (hard to tell on the screen but my boys had that (what looks like it) and child's farm cream cleared it up almost instantly

Looks like baby acne. My dd had it for weeks.

Thank you - looks a bit like it doesn’t it. She has a little bit on her chest too. Was this also your experience? Did you do anything that helped?

It's on her chest I'd say it's eczema does she have it on the back of her legs or in the arm out elbow crease? Could be allergy related if it's on her face xx

sarahc336 · 27/12/2022 18:03

Actually yeah sorry there are pimples maybe it is just baby acne but the chest bit defo looks like eczema. Try and make sure her tops don't get wet from milk, keep it dry at all times. Babies get all sorts though op they're skin can be so sensitive at the start

Yes she has it on her chest as well.
No I didn't do anything, just let it run it's course. We saw the gp for her 8 week baby check and he wasn't concerned. It's totally cleared up now.
