Love my kid but I just put my 18 month old on the floor because I was hot (Not trying to brag. I live in canada and have a working furnace. Sorry!) and she gave me the side eye of betrayal as if I kicked a puppy.
She’s been like this for the past 5-6 months now but it just feels like it continues to escalate. If she just wanted cuddles I would love that! But it’s never just cuddles. She wants to perform a full gymnastics performance while on my lap. Backends, headstands, bridges, downward dog, child pose, warrior pose I, II and III, then she wants to breastfeed, play with my phone, grab the remote and get into everything that she can use to destroy my living room in 2.5 seconds. Let’s not mention the head butts and the head swings bashing her skull into my mouth and poking my eyes with her fingers.
By the end of it I just want her to stop climbing me and leave me alone.
