Already has a relationship with staff & children
External training courses maybe needed

May bring new skills/attitudes
Time spent training on systems
Needs to create new & different relationships
No (or few) additional training needs

Not sure, but for

internal:
-you already know the standard of their work
-you already know how other staff responnds to them
