My DH is a bad Dad

We have 2 children. 1 DS 2 and a half, 1 DD 8 weeks old. I honestly don't think he is cut out to be a Dad. He snaps so easily, so heavy handed when moving the kids around. If I ask him to feed DD he props her up on a cushion and feeds her so he has the other hand free to keep playing his game on his phone. He doesnt tidy up when the kids are in bed, doesn't seem to care that much about me unless sex is involved.
He isnt the Dad i thought he would be. I honestly dont know what to do.

Responses seem a bit of an over reaction. People say things they regret. It's human nature. Just keep asking nicely (nag) to tidy up and offer a reward for doing it 😉

My parents thinks the sun shines out his back side. I have a very narcassistic mother that always wants to be liked by everyone so has sucked up to him since day 1. They would defo side with him over me because she would hate to be disliked by someone.

For fucks sake LEAVE or GET HIM OUT of the house. What an abusive piece of shit he is. Protect your children.

You need to leave - you and your children deserve so much more

But it doesn't sound from your post you will do which is a shame when this relationship if that were me is well and truley over I could never accept what you've said on this post and I'm sure there's a lot more

Calling your baby a fat cunt?

Leave

sorry OP this sounds like a really hard time. Leaving will be extremely difficult with 2 little ones but I agree with pps that it’s the right thing to do, if you can. Try and get your finances, logistics etc sorted over the next few weeks. Have you had a frank conversation and called him out on his behaviour? How does he respond?
