2 week old not sleeping day or night

Hi!

Really need some advice and want to know if this is normal
its my second baby but I don’t think my first did this..
My 2 week old won’t sleep at all?! As soon as she’s off the breast, she’s awake. She looks as if she’s asleep during the feed/straight after she’s come off. So I sit still and hope she’s actually asleep…. And then her eyes open. Literally within 2 minutes. This happens during the day and during the night for 2 days now! I’m not catching a break, my right nipple gets sore because her latch is bad on that side (doesn’t open her mouth enough). It’s putting me off breast feeding because it just hurts when she’s on the boob 24/7 like this.
I know cluster feeds are normal but this seems extreme.
We hold her for all her sleeps when she used to sleep lol so it’s not like we’re trying to put her down either..

I'm assuming you've tried settling her in other ways and it's not working? It's worth letting someone who isn't lactating try so there's no smell of milk.

Assuming that doesn't work... Honestly it does sound like normal cluster feeding. I know it's exhausting but it should finish any time now. As long as she has plenty of wet and dirty nappies she should be fine.
