When to pump and when to feed?

I want to start introducing one bottle of expressed milk a day for DS. But I’m not sure when to pump and when to give the feed. I was thinking of pumping in the morning when supply is the highest and then giving that feed in the evening. However a friend has told me that milk changed throughout the day and is more water/thirst quenching in the morning and more fatty/nutrient in the evening and should give the feed as soon as I’ve pumped

is that accurate? Can anyone let me know when they pumped and when they gave the feed? Thank you!

Honestly? It really is possible to overthink these things.

Pump when it works for you. Feed it when it works for you. If you find it isn't working, try something else.
