Please can anyone recommend toys/keep babies entertained for 10 month old and 13 month old

Family trip to France next year.
6 hours drive in a minibus ( one over night stop
On way and stopping very 2 hrs or so for lunch / stretch legs )

Also have an 11 yr old but she's covered just what development the babies will be at by then
What toys to bring

Thinking a playpen for the villa

Do they still use bouncer style chair at that age ? So sit in I mean I know they won't be strapped down bouncing!
Do they need a chair of some sort ?

Obviously cot, high chair, formula etc

Ours will be out of sterliser and formula but not our brothers baby

Any must haves ?

Thanks x

It's a while ago now - but we went away when dd was 6, 12 and 14 months. She was sitting up so never needed a bouncy chair. I took a blanket to put on the floor and whatever toys she was into at the time - it depends how much room you have. Stacking cups are fab as they can also be used in the bath, beach, pool and take up no room. I either used microwave steriliser bags or took a tupperware container (you can stuff it with other stuff when travelling) and milton tablets. Used Evian water to make bottles. High chair in accommodation and restaurants. I don't remember taking anything specific for the car - we stopped regularly - and just chatted away as normal. Never used a play pen - either at home or on holiday though. Do you have a pool? Mine was just walking at 14 months. We took it in turns to be vigilant.

@MissAmbrosia yes there is a pool there.

I thought a pen as there's two of them
So I thought it would be nice and safe to use say when we have dinner by the pool or if we are sitting having a drink or something

Being vigilant and taking it in turns to ensure they are safe as the villa is fairly big and open

Playpen is probably a good idea then if you have the room. They can be surprisingly mobile. I went in the kitchen to put the kettle on once and found dd half way up the stairs on my return. 😱😂

@MissAmbrosia I never needed one for my first but our house is small! But in a big area I think it could work out well.

And that was 11 yes ago and I've forgotten a lot!!

It's hopefully going to be a home from
Home holiday so we can take our home comforts and make it as easy as possible with 2 young children!! X
