separation anxiety or attachment problem?

DH allowed DD to cry in his arms for 45 minutes 10 nights ago, in the middle of the night, she wanted her Mama, normally he would bring her to me after 5 minutes, but he was trying some controlled cry (for the first time). Since then she gets very upset when I put her down and when I am around she will not go to Daddy or anyone else. If I sneak off she is okay with Daddy for hours. Did we mess up her attachment or is this just a coincidence as she is 14 months old, which is when separation anxiety can be strong. It's tiring!!!

It is exhausting isn't it. DS is like this and has been for ages dd hardly a rpoblem at all.
Like your dd my ds is fine if he doesn't notice me leaving or if he wakes up and MIL or DH or someone is there but boy do we know about it when I come back.

Idon't think you have messed anything up it is normal and does pass. I honestly think if DH didn't work away from home ds would have been over it a long time ago but he feels a bit stressed when I go anywhere because daddy keeps coming and going.
