Baby Gym - Can you recommend?

Hi there. I have a 2 months old and looking to buy a baby gym to keep him entertained. Any recommendations? What are your experiences? Which one is the best?

Ooooo I bought the most fantastic one, it had a mirror underneath, and petals that went round with things dangling down and played classical type music.. ignore everyone else, I will find a link for it. Be back in a min

any of them will do the job adequately.
dont be seduced by the idea that you can use it with various folddings forever. they eventually get bored of it.
we had a lovley winnie the pooh one form mothercare. ds loved it. lived under it forever. the only thing i would suggest is get something with a fairly padded bit to lie downon. i used to put ds on it on carpet ontop of wood floor.come thewinter, i had to put an extra couple of layers under him, as was worried about cold.

we bought the baby einstein one, fab. My LO is 7 months old and he still plays with it now. this one here

KatyMac - that looks great. Although we are still on the move and need one to fold away quickly.
pukkapatch - good tip. We have wooden floor and it can get cold.
geordie - That looks fab too. I like the mirror. But unfortunately I need something foldable.

My DS has this Baby Einstein one. It folds up into a plastic bag thing with a handle. Not that light when it's got the batteries in the music thing but he still plays with it a lot and he's nearly 11 months

Best thing to do is get one like this and a lod of spare linkies and then hang your own stuff off it. You cna buy loads of hanging activity type toys to add to the ones that come with it then
I did buy a really expensive one with mirror and music but then realised a lot of her hangy toys play music or have mirrors in tehm anyway and you can use them on buggies etc afterwards. DD1 still has a couple of her playgym toys on her car seat and she is 2!

Very cute!
Be aware that, should you want to, you may not be able to add mroe toys easily, one with holes in the cross bars means you can add toys and move them up and down.

Zuzkah, the one you linked to is pretty but doesn't look like it actually does much.

I thoroughly researched this myself before splashing out and I got a Tiny Love and it was absolutely fab (folds up too).

We have this one by Tiny Love and it folds up really easily.

My 8 month old still likes bashing it.

Thought the ELC one looked good if you need one which is padded. The Tiny Love one is quite thin.

Just had a look and from a shop they're around £50. However, I just looked on ebay and you can buy them new for £30 plus postage .

I second the Tiny Love one, it was really excellent. I bought the Kick Chimes as an extra add on (£10) which were great.

There's a nice tiny love one in boots, which folds away, and its 20% off at the moment so is £27.99, plus you'll get your advantage points.
I have a tiny love one, and i bought some extra dangly bits from mothercare which actually didn't fit as the holes are a different size. Cunning manufacturer ploy i presume.
Also agree kick chimes fab, i'm listening to them being given a workout as i type!

I third the tiny love one with the kick chimes. Fab. Both my boys have loved looking at themselves in the mirror from when they were quite tiny which often gave me 10-15 mins to myself . Now thats worth the £40!
