My 2 year old hasn't eaten much at all over the last 4 days which isn't like him at all - saying no to cakes & chocolate too, pushing away his dinner & snacks.

He is eating very small portions of fruit or a slice of toast but tried beans tonight & was sick straight after.

Not quite sure what's going on with him & a little unsure whether he needs to see a dr or not as I understand everyone is so busy & this probably isn't urgent. What would you do? Any idea what it could be?

Sounds like a stomach bug. They don’t always come with repeated vomiting, but lack of appetite and vomiting right after food would fit the bill. As long as they are well in themselves, albeit it a bit wan and listless, I wouldn’t worry and you just need to wait it out and help them to not overdo it. The important thing is to make sure they stay hydrated. If they refuse drinks, or they come back up, you may need to use dioralyte solution in small 5 ml doses every 10 mins or so (sometimes called a fluid challenge) to give them liquid they can keep down and which has the stuff in they need to keep going.
