Hello

I would really like to use reusables if I can- have been looking at fluffles/bamboozles and bimbles - but I am really confused by some of the terminology used - what are aplix?? or nippas and boosters/wraps?

Can someone translate this for me?

Many thanks

Hi.

Aplix is just like velcro but another name- lasts better I think!

Nippas are a type rubber nappy gripper that you use instead of a safety pin if you choose nappies without aplix or poppers.

If I were you I would go for aplix bamboozles as they are not as bulky but very absorbant. They do take longer to dry though.

A booster is a thick liner that goes inside- useful for night time wear or heavy wetters.

Wraps go on the outside to stop the wet soaking through- they are like waterproof pants but nice and soft and breathable. The best are motherease or tots fleece wraps for night time.
