Is this baby poo and rash normal?

My baby is 5 weeks old today.

Recently she's been unhappy, suffering from wind, reflux and difficulty pooing. She's just a bit unhappy in general too.

I've always thought her poo was normal but me and my husband have noticed it seems a bit more mucousy over the past few days. She's also come out with a bit of a rash on her face.

I'm wondering if this might be a milk allergy? She's exclusively breastfed.

Looks like my ebf baby's poo so I'd say it's normal. I've noticed her poo is sometimes more mucusy, sometimes more seedy, but think it's more to do with how much she takes than anything I eat. It's not dairy anyway cause I always have a lot of that.

As for the rash, not sure but my girl would get that it she spat up at night and I didn't notice so she was lying in it for a few hours... Think the acid irritated her skin. Could it be that?

My DD was EBF and it looks normal to me. Some milk coming up can be normal, it's because the opening to the stomach isn't very strong when they are little so sometimes bits of milk come up. The spots look like baby acne to me, which my daughter suffered with. But I am not an expert, just didn't want to read and run.

Looks normal to me OP and well done on the bf, it can be incredibly difficult.
If you are concerned it might be worth contacting your HV as you might be able to just send the pic you’ve posted here.
I think, as pp’s, it’s normal so my suggestion is for reassurance.

The poo looks like normal bf baby poo, which does change in consistency every now and again as the gut develops. As for the rash - looks like normal baby acne to me which develops around about 4/5 weeks old and often starts to get better around 8 weeks. Sometimes lasts longer.
