Is this normal? 7 week old DS looks cockeyed sometimes. Not all the time

Yes very normal while their eyes learn to focus. Try not to worry too much about the small (unimportant that is) things and to enjoy him. If you’re very worried a quick google search can help

I think it is completely normal. They can pull the weirdest of faces. And they can’t focus far at all at that age.

But then also my toddler wears very strong glasses and we noticed a squint from about 8 months but didn’t take it seriously till he was 2.5. He now has a permanent squint but hardly noticeable with his glasses. But if we’d taken him to get checked when we’d first noticed, his eyes could have learned to work together. You have to catch it really early, before 18 months, and we missed the boat.

So I’d say keep an eye on it. Will probably be fine but if you’re still noticing it in a couple of months then take him to the GP for a referral.

Yes, normal! My DD only recently stopped and she's four months!
